Apple has released an eight minute sneak peek of the upcoming season two premiere episode of “Severance” to Apple TV+ subscribers. The exclusive preview is available in the Apple TV app in the Bonus Content of the Severance page. In the second season of the well-received science fiction series, Mark Scout, portrayed by Adam Scott, returns to work at Lumon Industries, grappling with the fallout of events that blurred the carefully maintained boundary between his work and personal identities.
The show’s somewhat unusual premise is as follows:
In “Severance,” Mark Scout (Adam Scott) leads a team at Lumon Industries, whose employees have undergone a severance procedure that surgically divides their memories between their work and personal lives. This daring experiment in “work-life balance” is called into question as Mark finds himself at the center of an unraveling mystery that will force him to confront the true nature of his work … and of himself. In season two, Mark and his friends learn the dire consequences of trifling with the severance barrier, leading them further down a path of woe.
Severance has become one of the most discussed and analyzed Apple TV+ shows.
The full second season of Severance will debut on Apple TV+ on January 17.
