Apple CEO Tim Cook today announced that Apple will be donating an unspecified amount to relief efforts for those affected by Hurricane Milton. Cook’s announcement came in a post on X.
Our hearts go out to all of those impacted by the devastation of Hurricane Milton. To everyone still in harm's way, please stay safe. Apple will be making a donation to help with relief efforts on the ground.

Hurricane Milton made landfall near Siesta Key, Florida late Wednesday, resulting in numerous tornadoes. catastrophic flooding and damage, as well as several deaths.
Apple has donated to the American Red Cross for hurricane relief efforts in the past. In September, Cook announced Apple would be donating to relief efforts for victims of Hurricane Helene. In 2016, Apple partnered with the American Red Cross to help support relief efforts for those affected by widespread flooding in southern Louisiana. In January 2020, Apple again partnered with the Red Cross to accept donations to help with fire relief efforts in Australia.
