Fourth Season for Apple TV’s Popular ‘Ted Lasso’ Series Reportedly ‘Confirmed’

Fourth Season for Apple TV’s Popular ‘Ted Lasso’ Series Reportedly ‘Confirmed’

The popular Apple TV+ series Ted Lasso will be returning for a fourth season, according to MacStories writer and podcast host Sigmund Judge. In a social media post earlier today, said he has “confirmed” that pre-production for the hit series will begin in January in London, England.

It should be noted that Apple has yet to officially announce a fourth season for Lasso, and a release date has not yet been set.

If pre-production of the fourth season does begin in January, that means the earliest the fourth season of the series could air would likely be sometime in late 2025 or early 2026. The third season of Ted Lasso ran from March through May of 2023.

Several “Ted Lasso” stars have teased a fourth season. For example, Brendan Hunt mentions an encounter with Tim Cook when he’s asked about the possibility of a fourth season.

Hunt mentioned that Cook visited the Lasso set one day. When he had a chance to speak in the locker room, he reportedly said, “Thank you for all your hard work, and I sure hope there’s a Season 4.”

Meanwhile, a late August report claimed that Warner Bros. had picked up its series options on Hannah Waddingham, Brett Goldstein, and Jeremy Swift. Waddingham was AFC Richmond owner Rebecca Walton. Goldstein was the stern Roy Kent, and Swift played the team’s director of football operation.

The report indicated that Warner Bros. next step will be to start reaching out to SAG-AFTRA members like Jason Sudeikis and Brendan Hunt.
