Apple on Monday announced that iOS 18.1, which will bring the first Apple Intelligence features to the iPhone 15 Pro models and all four new iPhone 16 models, will be released to the public sometime in October.
Apple Intelligence first launches in U.S. English, and will quickly expand to include localized English in Australia, Canada, New Zealand, South Africa, and the U.K. in December, with additional language support — such as Chinese, French, Japanese, and Spanish — coming next year.
iOS 18.1 is already in beta testing by developers, and it includes Apple Intelligence features including Helpful Writing Tools, Mail and notifications summaries, a more natural and flexible Siri, the Clean Up tool in Photos, and many more Apple Intelligence features
Apple Intelligence will initially be available with device and Siri language set to English only, and the features will be labeled as “beta” features even on the version of iOS 18.1 that will be released to the public next month.
