Apple Gives Green Light to Developers to Submit iOS 18-Ready Apps

The official launch of iOS 18, iPadOS 18, macOS Sequoia, and watchOS 11 is coming next week, and Apple has given the okay to developers to submit new or updated apps for those updated operating systems.

Apple this week released Release Candidate (RC) builds of iOS 18, iPadOS 18, watchOS 11, tvOS 18, visionOS 2, and macOS Sequoia to developers. The RC builds will be the versions released to the public next week if testers don’t find any deal killing bugs over the next few days.

iOS 18 brings several new APIs, with support for Apple Intelligence tools, Lock Screen and Control Center shortcuts, and several more new features.

iOS 18, iPadOS 18, watchOS 11, tvOS 18, visionOS 2, and macOS Sequoia are scheduled to be released to the public next Monday, September 16.
