Apple will hold an event to debut its new iPhone 16 lineup, next-generation Apple Watch lineup, and fourth-generation AirPods on Tuesday, September 10 a.m., according to Bloomberg‘s Mark Gurman.
The devices will all launch on Friday, September 10. We can also expect to see Apple’s new operating systems, like iOS 18 and macOS Sequoia, be released a few days ahead of the September 20 product launch.
While Apple has not yet officially announced the date for its September iPhone event, Gurman says sources familiar with Apple’s plans tell him September 10 is the event date. Apple is expected to send out media invitations as soon as next week.
Apple’s upcoming iPhone 16 models are expected to be powered by more powerful A18 chips, which will power Apple Intelligence, Apple’s Artificial Intelligence engine. The displays of the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max handsets are expected to be slightly larger, and all four new iPhone 16 models will get a new Capture Button for taking photos.
We are expecting to see an Apple Watch Series 10, a new generation of the Apple Watch SE, and a refreshed Apple Watch Ultra be unveiled at the event.
The new AirPods are expected to debut in two models for the first time. The low-end AirPods 4 will be similar to the current AirPods model, while the high-end version will boast Active Noise Cancellation.
