Instagram has expanded the number of photos and videos that are allowed in a single carousel post, reports The Verge. Until now, standard grid posts have always been limited to a total of 10 images and videos. Instagram has now expanded that number to 20.
The carousel feature was first rolled out to users in 2017 and allows users to post multiple photos and videos at once. Then a user’s followers can swipe through to view them all. Multi-image posts appear on a user’s page and in the Instagram feed.
The move brings Instagram closer to competitor TikTok’s support for videos and images, as TikTok allows users to post up to 35 images or videos.
Support for more images in a single post is currently rolling out to users around the globe.
