A Fourth Season of ‘Ted Lasso’ Could be on the Way!

After months of being teased in interviews, it appears that Warner Bros. has picked up the options of featured characters in Apple TV+’s, “Ted Lasso.” That move indicated that a fourth season of the popular series.

A new report claims that Warner Bros. has picked up the options on Hannah Waddingham, Brett Goldstein, and Jeremy Swift. Waddingham was AFC Richmond owner Rebecca Walton. Goldstein was the stern Roy Kent, and Swift played the team’s director of football operation.

The report from Deadline on Saturday indicates that Warner Bros. next step will be to start reaching out to SAG-AFTRA members like Jason Sudeikis and Brendan Hunt.

A fourth season is still a ways off, as there are several other steps to be completed before production may begin. No budget has yet been announced, nor has a schedule for filming been announced.

Several “Ted Lasso” stars have teased a fourth season. For example, Brendan Hunt mentions an encounter with Tim Cook when he’s asked about the possibility of a fourth season.

Hunt mentioned that Cook visited the Lasso set one day. When he had a chance to speak in the locker room, he reportedly said, “Thank you for all your hard work, and I sure hope there’s a Season 4.”
