The leaker known as “Ice Universe” has posted what the leaker says are the overall specifications of the iPhone 17 lineup, which will debut in 2025.
There have been several reports in recent months agreeing that Apple will drop the iPhone Plus model in 2025, to be replaced by an all-new iPhone 17 “Slim” model. The latest information from Ice Universe, shared on Weibo, agrees with this and claims that the alleged iPhone 17 lineup display sizes and price points will be as follows:
- iPhone 17: 6.27-inch LTPO display ($799)
- iPhone 17 Pro: 6.27-inch LTPO display ($1,099)
- iPhone 17 Pro Max: 6.86-inch LTPO display ($1,199)
- iPhone 17 “Slim”: 6.65-inch LTPO display ($1,299)
All four iPhone 17 models are said to feature LTPO displays for the first time, which will offer ProMotion with a variable refresh rate of up to 120Hz. So far, ProMotion displays have only been available on Apple’s “Pro” devices, meaning the iPhone 17 could be the first lower-cost iPhone boasting that technology.
Ice Universe says the iPhone 17 “Slim” will become the new iPhone flagship with an asking price of approximately $1,299, making it the most expensive iPhone model to date. The handset will allegedly boast a 6.65-inch display, putting it between the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max in display size.
The iPhone 17 Pro models are said to feature 12GB of memory, a three-lens 48-megapixel rear camera system, and an A19 Pro chip manufactured using TSMC’s N3P process. The standard iPhone will feature an A19 chip.
Ice Universe also says the iPhone 17 “Slim” will feature an A19 chip, a dual rear camera system, an aluminum chassis, and 8GB of memory. Apple is expected to unveil the iPhone 17 lineup in September 2025.
