There have been reports that Apple will drop the Blue Titanium color option used in the current iPhone 15 Pro devices and replace it with a rose or gold color option. However, a leaker now says the new color option will actually be bronze or will offer a bronze-like appearance.
Weibo-based leaker “Fixed focus digital” claims that a new iPhone 16 Pro Max color resembles a “bronze hue,” while the surrounding frame has a titanium-like appearance. Earlier this month, Leaker OvO on Weibo claimed that the new iPhone 16 Pro color option is rose. “Not the previous Rose Gold on the iPhone 6s.”
This jibes with comments from Apple industry analyst Ming-Chi Kuo in May 2024. Kuo additionally said that the rose color would be a replacement for the blue of the iPhone 15 Pro.
It could be that both leakers have seen the same color but under different lighting conditions. Other color options for the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max lineups are expected to include black, white or silver, and gray or “Natural Titanium.”
Apple is expected to debut its new iPhone 16 lineup sometime in September.
