Here Are the Apple Products Eligible for Sales Tax Holidays in 8 U.S. States

Apple has once again published a list of its products and accessories that are eligible for the upcoming sales tax holidays in 8 states in the United States.

The eight U.S. states where there are sales tax holidays in 2024 are:

  • Alabama
  • Arkansas
  • Florida
  • Massachusetts
  • Missouri
  • Ohio
  • Tennessee
  • West Virginia.

Sales tax holidays allow customers to purchase select products from Apple and other companies without needing to pay state sales tax. The eligible products and price limits vary from state to state. Depending on the state, eligible Apple products may include Macs, iPads, iPhones, and/or accessories. Apple says that while the sales tax savings may not appear during checkout, the discounts will be included on the final receipt.

Customers in the 8 states can benefit not only from the sales tax holiday savings, they can also benefit from Apple’s Back to School promotion, which offers up to a $150 Apple gift card when students purchase an eligible Mac or iPad. Users can also receive 20% off AppleCare+, as well as Apple’s usual educational discounts on select products.
