Customers of at least one U.S. cellular carrier are having issues in placing, receiving, and conducting calls. While only AT&T has commented on the situation, customers of Verizon and T-Mobile have also been complaining about issues on social networks. We’ve also seen reports of outages for the big three cellular carriers on the Down Detector website.
A statement by AT&T says the outage has been affecting calls between carriers in the United States and that all three of the major carriers are working to restore service.
There is a nationwide issue that is affecting the ability of customers to complete calls between carriers. The carriers are working as quickly as possible to diagnose and resolve the issue.”
Affected customers have been reporting dropped calls, as well as an inability to hear the person on the other end of the call.
