New Survey Says Apple TV+ Customer Satisfaction Continues to Rise

ASCI has published the results of its latest telecoms survey that shows that even though subscription prices are on the rise, customer satisfaction is also.

Nearly every video streaming service tracked by ASCI scored a higher customer satisfaction score than the previous year, with Apple TV+ one of the biggest gainers. The 2024 score for Apple TV+ was 79, up from 76 in the year-ago survey.

The percentage change for Apple TV+ matched the gains experienced by Sling TV, and ESPN+. Crackle was the biggest mover, gaining 7% to score a rating of 75. Notably, Crackle is a free, ad-supported streaming service, indicating that many users are gravitating to free streaming services.

Apple TV+ ranked fourth overall in the survey. Amazon Prime Video was #1 with 82, Peacock at 80, YouTube Premium at 80, then Apple TV+ at 79 (tied with Hulu, Netflix, and Sling TV). Max and Paramount+ scored 78, and Disney+ scored 77.

Smart TVs were the most popular way to consume streaming content, followed by mobile smartphones.
