In-Store Vision Pro Demos in UK, Canada, and Other Select Countries Start July 12

Apple earlier this week announced that its Vision Pro spatial computing headset will launch in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, and the UK on July 12. You’ll be able to walk into Apple Stores in those countries to get a demo of the Vision Pro on that same day, July 12.

As reported by MacRumors, from Friday, July 12 at 8 a.m. local time, until the end of the day on Sunday, July 14, customers can go to Apple Stores in those countries to receive a demo of the Vision Pro on a first-come, first-served basis. If the U.S. launch is any indicator, you’ll need an appointment for a demo starting Monday, July 15.

During the 30-minute demo, customers will have the chance to navigate the visionOS operating system and familiarize themselves with the headset’s built-in apps, including Safari, Photos, and Apple TV.

The Vision Pro will be available to pre-order in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, and the U.K. starting Friday, June 28 at 5 a.m. Pacific Time. The spatial headset is also launching in China, Japan, and Singapore on June 28, with pre-orders starting in those countries on Thursday, June 13, at 6 p.m. Pacific Time.

Apple on Monday unveiled visionOS 2, its upcoming major update to its Apple Vision Pro operating system. The update brings a powerful new way for users to create spatial photos using the images already stored in their library. It also brings new intuitive hand gestures, as well as new features for Mac Virtual Display, Travel Mode, and Guest User. visionOS 2 will be available later this year.
