Apple Vision Pro Launches in Mainland China, Hong Kong, Japan, and Singapore

Apple has launched its Vision Pro spatial headset in several new countries. The headset arrived today in Apple Stores across Mainland China, Hong Kong, Japan, and Singapore, marking the first time the headset has been available outside of the United States.

Apple Vision Pro is set to launch in the United Kingdom and Canada on July 12.

Today, Apple Vision Pro arrived in Apple Store locations across China mainland, Hong Kong, Japan, and Singapore. Vision Pro seamlessly blends digital content with the physical world to deliver powerful spatial experiences that transform the way people work, collaborate, connect, relive memories, enjoy entertainment, and much more.

Consumer interest in Apple’s $3,499 headset has slipped a bit in the U.S., where sales have reportedly slowed in the five months since its February launch.

Apple’s headset will also launch on the same day in Australia, France, and Germany, as part of a staggered release in additional markets.

During WWDC24 earlier this month, Apple unveiled visionOS 2, its major update to its Apple Vision Pro operating system. The update brings a powerful new way for users to create spatial photos using the images already stored in their library. The update also brings new intuitive hand gestures, as well as new features for Mac Virtual Display, Travel Mode, and Guest User.
