You Can Still Get an Apple Sticker With Your New iPad But You’ll Have to Ask For It

Apple stickers are a victim of Apple’s commitment to removing all plastic from its product packaging, and that’s why they’re missing from the inside of the box of Apple’s new iPad Pro and iPad Air models, according to an Apple Store memo obtained by 9to5Mac.

The company says that this is part of its environmental goals, as it strives to ensure its packaging is completely plastic-free.

However, as noted by the report, you can still ask an employee for a sticker when you buy your new iPad Pro or iPad Air at an Apple Store.

Apple appears to be in the process of phasing out the Apple Stickers in the box with its products, as there are no stickers in the box with the Apple Vision Pro headset, while there are stickers in the box with the new MacBook Air models released in March.

9to5Mac reports that Apple does not appear to be distributing stickers to other retailers, such as Amazon and Best Buy. This means that if you want a sticker with your new iPad, you’re going to have to make the trek to the Apple Store.

Apple aims to achieve plastic-free packaging by 2025.
