Disney has shared a trailer for its upcoming hour-long immersive Disney+ Marvel “What If…?” story that will premiere on Thursday, May 30.
The Disney+ original from Marvel Studios is a spin-off from the “What If…?” animated series on Disney+. The experience will be available as a standalone app for the Vision Pro.

The Multiverse is in danger and The Watcher needs your help. Dangerous variants are hunting Infinity Stones and altering the fate of not only their realities, but yours as well. To save the fate of the Multiverse, you’ll need to use your own hands to learn mystic spells, defend your allies in epic battles, and more. But, be careful… everything might not be all that it seems.
What If…? (which originally debuted several years ago in the Marvel lineup of comics) reimagines events from the Marvel Cinematic Universe in unexpected ways (much like DC Comics’ “Imaginary Stories”).
Marvel says that users will “cross between augmented and virtual reality” while navigating through the adventure, interacting with the Marvel Universe using their hands and eyes.
Marvel says the experience offers “breathtaking environments” of new and iconic MCU locations. The app will offer “stunning visuals,” as well as support for spatial audio.
The Vision Pro immersive story will be available on Thursday, May 30.
