Bloomberg’s Gurman: Apple’s ‘Let Loose’ Event Should Last ‘About 35 Minutes’

Apple’s “Let Loose” event will be held this Tuesday, May 7 at 7 a.m. Pacific Time (10 a.m. Eastern Time). Apple will live-stream the event on Apple.com and on YouTube. Apple is expected to unveil new iPad Air and iPad Pro models, alongside an updated Apple Pencil and Magic Keyboard accessories.

How much time should you carve out for the event? Bloomberg‘s Mark Gurman expects to see the live streaming event last “around 35 minutes.”

We’re expecting to see several new and updated features when the new iPad Pros debut, including an M3 chip, a thinner profile, a landscape front camera, a revamped rear camera, and possibly MagSafe charging. A revamped Magic Keyboard and an updated Apple Pencil are expected to debut alongside the new iPad Pro models.

Apple’s new iPad Air models are expected to be powered by Apple’s M2 chip, a landscape front camera, and a first-ever model with a 12.9-inch display.

The iPad Pro and iPad Air were last updated in October 2022 and March 2022, respectively.
