Apple Vision Pro Appears in Chinese Regulatory Database – Will Expand to New Countries After WWDC

The Apple Vision Pro (A2117) and its Battery Pack (A2697) have shown up in China’s product regulatory database, as Apple prepares to roll out the headset to several new countries, likely following Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference in June.

Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman on Tuesday said Apple is planning to expand the availability of the Vision Pro to several additional countries following the conference. This conflicts with Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo’s previous comments that the rollout would happen BEFORE WWDC, not after.

As reported by MacRumors, there is evidence in Apple’s backend code that the Vision Pro will expand to Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, Japan, Singapore, South Korea, and the United Kingdom. That information is apparently correct, as retail employees from those countries have been visiting Apple’s Vision Pro headquarters in Cupertino.

Apple had announced during the Vision Pro launch in the United States in February that it would roll out the device to additional countries “later this year,” but did not provide a list of countries, timing, or pricing at that time.
