Apple Releases watchOS 10.5 – Brings New Pride Watch Face

Apple on Monday released watchOS 10.5 to the public, its fifth major update to the watchOS 10 operating system that was released in September.

watchOS 10.5 is primarily a bug fix update. However, it does introduce a new Pride watch face to match the Pride band that Apple debuted earlier this month.

watchOS 10.5 includes new features, improvements and bug fixes, including a new Pride Radiance watch face to honor the LGBTQ+ community and culture.

watchOS 10.5 can be downloaded for free through the dedicated Apple Watch app on the iPhone by going to “General” -> “Software Update.” The Apple Watch needs to have at least a 50% battery charge, needs to be on a charger, and needs to be in the range of the ‌‌iPhone‌‌.

The new Apple Watch Pride Edition Braided Solo Loop will be available to order starting May 22, along with a matching watch face and dynamic iOS and iPadOS wallpapers, available in Monday’s software updates.
