Apple today seeded the third beta of its macOS Sonoma 14.5 update to developers. The new beta comes one week after the release of the second beta.
The developer build of macOS Sonoma 14.5 can be downloaded by developers through the Apple Developer Center and once the correct profile is installed, succeeding betas will be available through the Software Update mechanism in System Preferences.
So far, no new features have been found in any of the macOS Sonoma 14.5 betas. We’ll update this space if and when we hear of new features.
As usual, both MacTrast and Apple warn users to not install any betas on their daily driver Mac, instead only installing betas on devices set aside for testing purposes.
