Apple’s upcoming iPhone 16 Pro Max could boast the longest battery life ever offered in an iPhone, according to rumors coming out of Korea.
Citing supply chain sources in a post last week, Naver user “yeux1122” corroborates several rumors about the iPhone 16 Pro, including a display size increase from 6.1 to 6.3 inches. The rumors mention the device’s increased chassis size and internal changes, which should bring increased optical zoom capabilities.
User yeux1122 added that the size increase will be barely noticeable compared to the current model. The device is also set to feature a similar-sized or larger battery.
In a later post, yeux1122 explained that many of the iPhone 16 Pro’s components will benefit from improved power consumption. The report added that the iPhone 16 Pro Max will contain a larger battery to reach the longest-ever battery life offered in an iPhone.
Since the iPhone 15 Pro Max boasts a 29-hour battery life, the iPhone 16 Pro Max could possibly last for over 30 hours for the first time ever.
The Naver user also included the rumor that the iPhone 16 Pro models will continue to boast 8GB of memory.
The iPhone 16 Pro Max will likely debut alongside the rest of the iPhone 16 lineup in September.
