We all know that Apple’s Find My app is an excellent way to track your devices and if you use AirTags, is also an excellent way to track your items, like purses, automobiles, bicycles, and the like. But, just how many items can be tracked in the app on your iPhone and iPad? We now have an official number.
Apple on Thursday confirmed that 32 items, 32! Can be tracked in the Find My app. HA! HA! HA! 32! (Up from a previous limit of 16.)
Apple revealed this information in a support document updated on Thursday:
You can add up to 32 items in Find My. In addition to AirTag and the third-party Find My network accessories in the Items tab, AirPods Max count as one item, AirPods and AirPods Pro (1st generation) count as two items, and AirPods Pro (2nd generation) count as three items.
As reported by MacRumors, It had been previously confirmed by the publication that Apple increased the item limit starting with iOS 16 and iPadOS 16. However, the change had not been officially confirmed until now.
