If you’re looking to squeeze a little last-minute holiday shopping in and your gift recipient is an Apple fan, you better get it in gear. But first, check Apple’s online shopping order deadlines, where you can find the date you need to order devices and products if you want to have them to unwrap on December 25.
Today, Thursday, December 21 is the final day in the United States for purchasing the majority of Apple devices and products, 9including the iPhone 15 and iPhone 14 lineups, the iPhone 13, and the iPhone SE. It is also the deadline for orders of all Macs, all iPads, Apple Watch models, Apple TV 4K, HomePods, and AirTags.
Today is also the final order date for all AirPod models, excluding AirPods Max, on which the deadline has already passed. Unfortunately, it is too late to order engraving for your purchases, and it is also past the deadline for gift cards by mail. If you are in the U.K., you have an additional day remaining, extending to December 22 for all of the above.
There is still time to salvage your Apple holiday shopping, but it might take some away from keyboard legwork. You can still shop online for in-stock items with Apple Pickup or 2-hour delivery from your local Apple Store.
Apple is offering extended holiday returns. In the United States, Canada, the UK, Australia, and select other countries, most items purchased between November 3, 2023 and December 25, 2023, may be returned through January 8, 2024.
The extended return policy applies to most products sold by Apple, including the iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, HomePod mini, Apple TV, AirPods, accessories, and more.
There are some items, however, that are ineligible for return, including:
In some countries like Italy, Spain, and Japan, there is a longer extended return policy in effect, with most items purchased between November 3, 2023, and January 6, 2024 may be returned through January 20, 2024.
