Apple and Paramount have discussed possibly creating a lower-price bundle of their streaming services, Apple TV+ and Paramount+, according to a new report by The Wall Street Journal.
The bundle would cost less than subscribing to both services separately, say the report’s sources. The report says its sources say the discussions are still in their early stages, and they’re not sure what shape a bundle could take.
Several streaming services, including Apple TV+ and Paramount+, have recently increased their prices, which has led to some subscribers canceling their services.
Apple in October increased the price of some of its subscription-based services, including Apple TV+, which jumped from $6.99 per month to $9.99 per month. Annual subscribers saw their price jump from $69 per year to $99 per year.
