Apple today released new firmware for the AirPods Pro 2 with Lightning port, as well as the AirPods Pro 2 with USB-C port. The new firmware is version 6B32, up from the 6A305 firmware released in October.
While Apple does not offer immediately available release notes on what’s included in refreshed firmware updates for the AirPods Pro 2, the company’s support document includes release information.

- Bug fixes and other improvements
There isn’t any way to manually update the firmware of the earbuds, and the new software will be installed over the air while the AirPods Pro 2 are connected via Bluetooth to an iOS device.
If you place the AirPods Pro 2 in their case, connect them to a power source, and then pair them to an iPhone or iPad, they should update after a short period of time.
