Apple Releases iOS 17.1.1 to the Public – Includes Bug Fixes for BMW Wireless Charging and Weather Widget

Apple on Wednesday released iOS 17.1.1 for the iPhone, as well as iPadOS, 17.1.1 for the iPad. The update can be downloaded and installed on compatible iPhones and iPads over-the-air by going to “Settings” -> “General” -> “Software Update.”

The iOS 17.1.1 update fixes a BMW wireless charging problem, as well as a bug with the Weather Lock Screen widget.

– In rare circumstances, Apple Pay and other NFC features may become unavailable on iPhone 15 models after wireless charging in certain cars
– Weather Lock Screen widget may not correctly display snow
