If you think you’ve had a crappy day, it still might not beat the one a woman in northern Michigan had when she got stuck in an outhouse toilet attempting to rescue her Apple Watch, which she had dropped into the toilet.
The unnamed woman was at the Department of Natural Resources boat launch at Dixon Lake, located in northern Michigan. She felt nature call and entered an outhouse that was conveniently available at the site, and things went down the toilet from there (along with her Apple Watch).
The woman dropped her Apple Watch into the porta-potty’s toilet tank and decided to try to rescue it herself. It seems that during the retrieval attempt, she fell into the toilet and was unable to get out of it on her own.
Conversation Officers from the Michigan Department of Natural Resources troopers from the Michigan State Police Gaylord Post, and Otsego County EMS all responded to a call around 11 a.m. local time Tuesday.
The toilet was removed, and a strap was used to hoist the woman out to safety. No word yet on whether the Apple Watch was also retrieved.
As reported by a local ABC affiliate, MSP Troopers warn outhouse users to not attempt to venture inside the little shack out back’s containment area, as serious injury (and serious embarrassment) may occur.
Reports about the incident failed to mention the woman’s name, likely because they figured she’d taken enough crap for one day.
