In addition to macOS Sonoma, Apple on Tuesday released an update for Studio Display 17 firmware. The update brings improvements to the display’s camera. The update will be available after you’ve updated your Mac to macOS Sonoma.
This firmware update can be performed by connecting the display to a Mac running macOS Sonoma. Studio Display owners can go to System Preferences -> Software Update to install the firmware.
According to Apple’s release notes, the update adds support for zoom, recenter, and manual framing for the built-in camera in the Studio Display, plus it includes minor stability improvements.
