Apple has released watchOS 10.0.1, a minor update to the watchOS 10 operating system that was released on Monday.
watchOS 10.0.1 can be downloaded for free through the dedicated Apple Watch app on the iPhone by going to “General” -> “Software Update.” The Apple Watch needs to have at least a 50% battery charge, needs to be on a charger, and needs to be in the range of the iPhone.
Apple’s release notes say the watchOS 10.0.1 update includes bug fixes and important security updates for the Apple Watch.
Apple also released watchOS 9.6.3 for those with Apple Watches that are unable to be updated to watchOS 10.0.1 or for Apple Watches that have not yet had the watchOS 10 update installed.
