We have just a few weeks to go until Apple unveils the iPhone 15 lineup, so we’re continuing to see rumors circulate about the new smartphone. The latest rumor is that we’ll possibly see new color options for the lower-end iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus handsets.
The latest color possibility comes courtesy of well-known leakers @MajinBuOfficial and @URedditor, who today said the lower-end iPhone 15 models will be available in a new light green finish.
@MajinBuOfficial claims the new color option will look similar to the green finish available for the iPhone 12 and the iPhone 12 mini. However, the leaker is not sure if the color will make an appearance alongside the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus launch in September, or if it will be introduced as a new color option in spring 2024.
We’ve seen several other color possibilities for the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus, including black, blue, yellow, and pink. Apple also usually introduces a “(PRODUCT)RED” color that benefits The Global Fund, which fights HIV/AIDS, and other diseases, mostly in Africa.
We’ll get a look at the new color options of the entire iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro lineups at a press event likely to be held on September 12.
