Apple’s Wonderlust event invitations have gone out, and on the invite is an Apple logo made up of blue, silver, and metallic hues. A leaker says those are the color options that will be available for the upcoming iPhone 15 Pro lineup that will be unveiled at the September 12 event.
We’ve seen rumors about what color options will be available for the iPhone 15 Pro, with some saying the options will include silver, space black, and a natural titanium shade. Apple is said to be dropping the gold color option, despite its popularity in China.
Now, a post by leaker @URedditor on the social network formerly known as Twitter says the Wonderlust event invitation clearly shows the four upcoming iPhone 15 Pro colors. The gold-ish tint alludes to the new natural titanium color, with blue, black, and silver mixed in.
The animated version of the invitation on Apple’s events page shows an Apple logo made up of grains of sand, that are blown off, much like a sand dune in the wind. The “Wonderlust” text on the invite is also made up of the blue and gray colors found in the logo.
It’s traditional for observers to examine Apple’s event invitations for hidden meanings, and this year’s event is no exception. Pst invites have contained clues connected to the events. However, those clues are usually only obvious after the event has been held.
As pointed out by AppleInsider, Apple usually furnishes specific details to artists so they can create the event invitations, but it doesn’t provide any information as to why the details should be included in the design. While the Cupertino firm could be indicating the new iPhone 15 Pro colors, we won’t know anything for sure until the Apple press event takes place.
In other iPhone 15 color-related rumors, a recent report claimed the standard iPhone 15 models will be available in black, green, blue, yellow, and pink, all of which have been rumored previously.
On Monday, well-known leakers @MajinBuOfficial and @URedditor claimed the lower-end iPhone 15 models will be available in a new light green finish. @MajinBuOfficial claims the new color option will look similar to the green finish available for the iPhone 12 and the iPhone 12 mini. However, the leaker is not sure if the color will make an appearance alongside the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus launch in September, or if it will be introduced as a new color option in spring 2024.
We’ve seen several other color possibilities for the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus, including black, blue, yellow, and pink. Apple also usually introduces a “(PRODUCT)RED” color that benefits The Global Fund, which fights HIV/AIDS, and other diseases, mostly in Africa.
Apple’s “Wonderlust” media event will be held on Tuesday, September 12 at 10:00 a.m. Pacific Time. The event will take place at the Steve Jobs Theater on the Apple Park campus in Cupertino, California.
