A newly leaked image, allegedly showing iPhone 15 screen glass and protectors, appears to lend credence to a rumor that certain models of Apple’s upcoming iPhone may feature thinner bezels.
In March, the leaker known as “Ice Universe” said the iPhone 15 Pro Max will “break the record” for having the thinnest bezels ever on any smartphone. The current record is held by the 1.81mm bezels on the Xiaomi 13. Ice Universe has a decent record of accurate predictions in the past.
In a new tweet on Monday, Ice Universe shared a new image of what they say are the glass displays and third-party screen protectors made for the iPhone 15 lineup.

As seen above, the image shows eight screens, and the lower four are identified as iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Plus, and iPhone 15 Pro Max. The screens identified as belonging to the iPhone 15 Pro models have noticeably slimmer bezels when compared to the other variants.
Additionally, the screens for the iPhone 15 do not include a notch, jibing with a 2022 rumor from display analyst Ross Young, who said he believed the Dynamic Island feature, which was exclusive to the iPhone 14 Pro models, would be used in the entire iPhone 15 lineup, meaning the entire lineup would no longer have the top display notch.
As is usual for rumors like these, take them with a dash of your favorite low-sodium seasoning, as we won’t know anything for certain until Apple officially unveils the new iPhone lineup a bit later this year.
