Apple is planning to release new Beats Studio Pro wireless over-ear headphones on July 19, according to details shared by Myke Hurley on the Apple-related podcast “Connected” last week. Hurkey said he received the information from a previously accurate source.
Hurey’s source claimed the following for Apple’s new headphones:
To be released on July 19th
Will use custom Beats silicon supporting Find My and Google Fast Pair as well as 3 different sound modes (Beats Signature, Entertainment, and Conversation)
Will be available in Black, Navy, Sandstone, and Deep Brown
Will have a USB-C and a 3.5mm jack
It is also likely that the Studio Pro will also feature improved active noise cancellation and longer battery life. The Studio3 are equipped with Apple’s W1 chip, but it’s unclear which chip the Studio Pro will use.
The Studio Pro is expected to retail for around €399 in Europe ($349.95 in the U.S.).
Code found in the macOS Ventura 13.4 release candidate indicates that Apple is working on new Beats Studio Pro headphones. The headphones have an A2924 model number, which is different from the model numbers for the upcoming Beats Studio Buds+ earphones.
