New iPhone 15 Pro Max Renders Reveal Larger Camera Bump

New renders of the iPhone 15 Pro Max shared to Twitter on Saturday by leaker “ShrimpApplePro” show the model boasts a slightly larger rear camera bump, while also providing another peek at the upcoming device’s solid-state buttons.

We often see leaks such as this in the time leading up to iPhone debuts, thanks to the CAD drawings used by iPhone case manufacturers. We’ve heard other rumors of a larger camera bump on the iPhone 15 Pro Max, and these renders look to reinforce those beliefs.

The renders from Saturday offer all-around views of the iPhone 15 Pro Max. The leaker also offers a list of measurements and observations from the CAD itself.

ShrimpApplePro claims the camera bump measures 3.78mm, which is about 5% bigger than the iPhone 14 Pro Max’s version.

ShrimpApplePro admits that their measurements “may not be exactly the same as the others out there, but I believe its measurements are accurate.”

The leaker also mentions “weird objects” sitting on top of the solid-state volume buttons. That could be conductive padding that will be fused to phone cases, to enable full gestures or action sensitivity.

As usual, take this information with a grain of your favorite salt-free seasoning. We won’t know the exact design and feature set of the upcoming iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro lineups until their unveiling in September.
