Apple today released tvOS 16.4, an update to the tvOS 16 operating system for the Apple TV 4K and Apple TV HD. The tvOS 16.4 update comes two months following the release of tvOS 16.3.
The tvOS 16.4 update can be downloaded via the Settings app on the Apple TV by going to “System” -> “Software Update.” If you have automatic software updates turned on your Apple TV will be upgraded to tvOS 16.4 automatically.
tvOS updates often focus on internal bug fixes and improvements rather than any public-facing changes.

This update adds Dim Flashing Lights, an accessibility option to automatically dim the display of video when flashes of light or strobe effects are detected, and includes performance and stability improvements.
