Starting today, you’ll pay more for a battery replacement for your out-of-warranty iPhones, iPads, and Macs. Apple has raised their pricing for replacing the battery in iPhone 13 and older models, Macs, and iPads that are out of warranty and that are not covered by AppleCare+.
Battery replacements for iPhone 13 models now cost $89, a $20 increase from the prior repair cost. The $89 price is for the iPhone X through the iPhone 13. Apple charges $69 for repairs on the iPhone 8 and earlier models. Out-of-warranty battery replacements for the iPhone 14 lineup remain at $99.
Pricing for battery replacements on the iPad is now $119, which is a $20 bump, for multiple models. This includes the fifth-generation and later 12.9-inch iPad Pro models, third-generation 11-inch iPad Pro and earlier, 10.5 and 9.7-inch iPad Pro models, all iPad mini models, and all iPad Air models.
Battery replacements continue to be priced at $179 for the most recent iPad Pro models, including the 12.9-inch iPad Pro, and $149 for the 11-inch iPad Pro.
Mac battery replacements will run an extra $30 to $50, as MacBook Air battery replacements are now priced at $159 and MacBook Pro battery replacements are now $249.
