Apple today released macOS Ventura 13.2.1 to the public. The latest version of the operating system comes three weeks after macOS Ventura 13.2, an update that added Security Keys for Apple ID.
The macOS Ventura 13.2.1 update can be downloaded for free on compatible Macs using the Software Update section of System Preferences.
The update includes minor bug fixes and addresses security vulnerabilities. since one of the vulnerabilities was known to be exploited in the wild, it’s important to update to the new version as soon as you can.
The software fixes a WebKit issue that could allow maliciously crafted web content to result in arbitrary code execution. Apple says that it is “aware of a report that this issue may have been actively exploited.”
The vulnerability was a type confusion issue that Apple says has been addressed with improved checks.
Apple also released an iOS 16.3.1 update that brings a Siri Find My fix, fixes an issue with iCloud settings, and introduces additional Crash Detection optimizations for iPhone 14 models.
