Apple on Monday debuted a new ad for its iPhone 14 handset, promoting Action Mode, which provides additional stabilization when capturing video while moving, making it easier to take shots that would otherwise not be possible without specialized equipment.
Action mode turns a shaky camera into smooth video. Relax, it’s iPhone 14.
In the ad, a mother uses Action Mode to film her son in a race, running alongside him to capture the action. Apple has said that Action Mode is meant to replicate the stable video that you can typically only get when using a gimbal.
Apple has also released an ad promoting iOS 16’s message undo send feature, which allows an iMessage to be recalled for a short period of time after it goes out
In the ad, a man is pet-sitting a lizard named “Leon” who looks dead. He sends a text message letting his friend know that the lizard has died when suddenly it moves. He’s then able to unsend the message before his friend sees it.
