Michael Steeber, who writes a weekly newsletter about Apple’s retail stores, says Apple Tice’s Corner retail store in Woodcliff Lake, New Jersey will temporarily close for renovations on Tuesday, January 31. A reopening date has yet to be announced.
Apple Tice’s Corner is the Cupertino company’s only remaining retail store with an original 2001 storefront design. The design includes a black facade with two backlit Apple logos bookending the entrance.
Apple Tice’s Corner was one of Apple’s first retail stores, originally opening in November 2001, mere months after Apple’s first retail stores in Tysons, Virginia and Glendale, California. The Tysons and Glendale store facades have already been updated during past renovations.
