Apple Raising Price of Out-of-Warranty Battery Replacements for iPhone, iPad, and Mac

Apple will soon be increasing the price of out-warranty battery replacements for iPhone‌ models older than the iPhone 14, as well as out-of-warranty battery replacements for iPads and Macs.

The Cupertino company announced that starting March 1, 2023, the price of out-of-warranty battery replacements for all models of the iPhone 13 and iPhone 12 series, as well as older ‌iPhone‌ models, will increase by $20. Currently, Apple charges $69 for a battery replacement on most ‌iPhone‌ models.

MacBook Air battery replacement will increase by $30 and MacBook Pro prices by $50. Newer ‌iPad‌ Models will see their prices increase by $20. These price changes will be effective March 1, 2023.

Customers who have AppleCare or ‌AppleCare‌+ for their devices will not be required to pay the fees. ‌AppleCare‌+ customers pay $0 for a battery replacement once their battery health has decreased past 80%.
