Apple on Tuesday released Xcode 14.2, updating the development suite to support iOS 16.2, iPadOS 16.2, tvOS 16.1, watchOS 9.1, and macOS Ventura 13.1, which were all released on Tuesday.
What’s New In This Version:
Xcode 14.2 includes SDKs for iOS 16.2, iPadOS 16.2, tvOS 16.1, watchOS 9.1, and macOS Ventura 13.1.
Xcode includes everything developers need to create applications for Mac, iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, and Apple Watch. Xcode provides developers a unified workflow for user interface design, coding, testing, and debugging. The Xcode IDE combined with the Swift programming language make developing apps easy and fun.
The release notes for Xcode show that it includes Swift 5.7, as well as software development kits for the updated operating systems. There’s also support for on-device debugging in iOS 11 or later, tvOS 11 or later, and watchOS 4 and later.
As noted by AppleInsider, The release also resolves an issue with previews, where they could fall into the Xcode canvas when two files are viewed side-by-side, but only if one of them is in a Swift package.
You can download Xcode from the App Store for free.
