Apple Stores and Apple Authorized Service Providers around the world are now able to offer same-unit repairs for all four iPhone 14 models. Previously, Apple would replace the entire device in place of actually performing repairs. This news comes from an internal memo shared by MacRumors.
As of last week, Apple Stores and Apple Authorized Service Providers now able to order parts to complete iPhone 14 repairs in-store. It is not uncommon for repair parts to take a few months to be available for new Apple devices.
The iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus both boast a removable back glass panel to allow for easier repairs. This marks the first time an iPhone can be opened from both the front and back sides since the iPhone 4S. iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max models can only be opened from the front side.
