Evidence has surfaced, suggesting that Apple is planning to release iOS 16.0.3 with additional bug fixes. iOS 16.0.2 was released last month with several bug fixes for iPhone 14 issues.
MacRumors reports that evidence of an upcoming iOS 16.0.3 has shown up in the website’s analytic logs.
Bugs that iOS 16.0.3 could address include low volume during CarPlay calls placed on an iPhone 14 Pro, display flickering on some iPhone models, a string of text that can crash Mail, an error when attempting to edit Cinematic Mode videos shot on an iPhone in Final Cut Pro and iMovie on the Mac, and more.
At this point, we do not know when iOS 16.0.3 might be released, but it could happen as soon as this week or next. iOS 16.1 is expected to be released later this month, so iOS 16.0.3 should see a release soon.
