One of the specs that Apple never announces is the amount of RAM in its iPhones. However, a report from earlier today confirms that all four iPhone 14 models boast 6GB of RAM.
Information found in files in the latest Xcode 14 beta shows that the iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 14 Pro, and iPhone 14 Pro Max are each equipped with 6GB of RAM. By comparison, the iPhone 13 mini and iPhone 13 have 4GB of RAM and the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max have 6GB, so the standard models contain 50% more RAM this year.

We have seen Xcode accurately reveal the amount of RAM in several previous iPhone generations.
Earlier this year, two separate reports claimed the iPhone 14 Pro handsets would use a faster type of RAM known as LPDDR5, while LPDDR4X would be used in the standard iPhone 14 models. Xcode doesn’t reveal the type of RAM used in the various iPhone 14 models, so we’ll have to wait until someone does a teardown on the new iPhones before we know for sure.
