Apple today seeded the first beta of its upcoming iOS 16.1 update to developers. The updates come two days after the release of iOS 16 to the public.
Beta builds of iOS 16.1 are available to developers through the Apple Developer Center or over the air on the devices with the proper configuration installed.
There’s no word as of yet on what’s included in the new beta, but there are several iOS 16 features that Apple has not yet been implemented. When we learn what’s new in the beta, we’ll update this article.
As usual, MacTrast and Apple both warn users to not install any betas on their daily driver iPhone or iPad. Instead, only install betas on a device set aside for testing purposes.
