Apple Music has added two new dedicated playlists highlighting Super Bowl halftime show performers, as well as popular stadium anthems.
The National Football League on Thursday announced a new partnership with Apple Music for the Super Bowl Halftime Show. Apple Music will replace Pepsi as the primary halftime show sponsor as part of the multi-year deal. The announcement says Apple Music will offer “exclusive details and sneak peeks” leading up to the shows.
Apple Music has added two Super Bowl playlists, one that highlights past halftime performers and another with upbeat stadium anthems.
- Halftime Headliners: Past performers here include Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Beyonce, Prince, Michael Jackson, and others.
- Stadium Anthems: This playlist encourages fans to stomp, clap, scream, shout, and sing as they anticipate Super Bowl LVII. It includes music from The White Stripes, Ozzy Osbourne, Quiet Riot, Survivor, and others.
Apple Music Essentials have been further curated to highlight those musicians and singers who have been associated with the Super Bowl, including Michael Jackson, Prince, and Diana Ross, to U2, Britney Spears, and Christina Aquilera.
Super Bowl LVII will be held in Arizona at State Farm Stadium on Sunday, February 12, 2023.
