Apple on Monday released an update to its Boot Camp software allowing the Microsoft Windows operating system to be run on Intel-based Macs. The Boot Camp 6.1.19 update includes updates to the Precision Touchpad driver, according to Apple’s release notes, along with other bug fixes.
Boot Camp 6.1.16 was released on August 22, making this the second Boot Camp update in a week. The previous update introduced WiFi WPA3 support and fixed a Bluetooth driver issue that sometimes occurred when resuming from Sleep or Hibernation.
If you’re a Boot Camp user, you can navigate to the Start menu in Windows, open the Apple Software Update app, and install new Boot Camp drivers.
The Boot Camp feature is limited to Intel-based Macs and is not available on Apple Silicon-powered Macs.
