Apple Releases iOS 15.6.1 & iPadOS 15.6.1 – Brings Bug Fixes & Security Improvements

Apple on Wednesday released iOS 15.6.1 and iPadOS 15.6.1, a minor update to the iOS 15 and iPadOS 15 operating systems. The new versions come a month following the release of iOS 15.6 and iPadOS 15.6.

The new software is free and can be downloaded on eligible devices over the air by going to “Settings” -> “General” -> “Software Update.”

According to Apple’s release notes, the updates include bug fixes and security improvements. iOS 15.6.1 and iPadOS 15.6.1 address kernel and WebKit vulnerabilities that could lead to arbitrary code execution.
