Verizon on Tuesday announced a new lower-priced 5G unlimited plan called “Welcome Unlimited.” The wireless carrier says the plan boasts its best price yet on unlimited talk, text, and 5G/LTE data.
Verizon’s Welcome Unlimited plan is priced at $30 per line for a minimum of four lines when paying via Auto Pay. Verizon is also offering a $240 Verizon e-gift card per line when activating an already-owned LTE or 5G phone on the new plan. A single-line plan is available for $65 per month, while a two-line plan will run you $55 per line per month.
The Welcome Unlimited plan is a separate offering from the provider’s current Mix and Match Unlimited plans for families, and it cannot be combined with those plans.
The Welcome Unlimited plan offers unlimited 5G/LTE data, but in times of congestion, Verizon may slow your data speeds temporarily. The plan does not include Mobile Hotspot functionality, which is what sets it apart from Verizon’s other plans.
Verizon’s Welcome Unlimited plan is now available. For more information, visit the Verizon website.
